Darlin Diaz

Darlin Diaz has been an early childhood educator for over 26 years. Darlin became a passionate literacy intervention teacher and advocate when her daughter began to struggle to read and was later diagnosed with a language-based disability. Darlin’s passion and journey to teach children to read began in 1996 when she was trained in the Orton-Gillingham method with the NY Reading Reform Foundation. She has continued her reading intervention journey by learning as much as she can by attending trainings through IMSE, Reading Reform Spalding method, SWI, UFLI and currently seeking EBLI certification. She is a passionate K – 2 intervention teacher with extensive experience implementing and providing individualized instruction to meet the needs of each learner.
