Gwen marra
Gwen Marra is passionate about effective literacy instruction. She currently serves as a university professor in the Midwest, where she teaches literacy and early childhood classes to undergraduate and graduate students. She loves teaching future teachers and partnering with teachers around the world to improve literacy instruction in their classrooms. She also loves working with children and is the director of a tutoring center that helps kids who struggle with reading. She has earned a B.A. in Elementary Education, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and an Ed. D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Literacy focus. Gwen is a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. As a life-long learner, she is currently pursuing LETRS training and training that aligns with a speech-to-print approach to literacy instruction.
