Sarah Elrhanjaoui
Sarah Elrhanjaoui is a third grade teacher at William Tell Elementary in rural Indiana. With nearly a decade of experience in education, she has taught grades three through five. Sarah holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy, a Master’s in Education, and an Ed.S. in Principalship. Her commitment to literacy and her guiding motto, "Do what's best for kids," drive her professional learning. She was recently honored with the "School Champion" Science of Reading Award by Nessy and recognized as Teacher of the Week by Curriculum Associates. With only two years teaching experience, she was voted “Teacher of the Year” at Aucoin Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year. In 2024, Sarah was selected for the Indiana Teacher Creative Fellowship and the local Perry County Leadership Cohort. Sarah’s dedication to her professional learning is supported by her school and various scholarships, including The Writing Revolution’s Abrahamson Scholarship and the Boon Scholarship for Teacher Top Ten Tools. Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys running, playing soccer, going to the gym, swimming, gaming, spending time with her family, and kayaking. She aims to inspire teachers to make one small change at a time.
